Common Player Issues & Bugs
On this page we will cover common problems that you see often on our video players. I strongly recommend our visitors to read until the end.
I always wanted to write a how to use video player page but couldn’t come up an idea and I think it is time do this. I will try to cover most of common player issues that you face often and try to offer a solution without our help.
Our video player servers are located in several countries. We serve videos to free users from Turkish servers. Premium users are allow to use US and CA servers which improves the loading speeds for premium users.
Note: Premium users also have download options (on wcopremium.tv)
Question 1: The video player doesn’t show up? I see a “No Internet” / “Page can’t be loaded” error?
Recently, US internet providers (such as AT&T) have started blocking our video player domains one by one. We’ve tried changing domain names, but they continue to block them. There are two solutions to this issue: using a VPN or becoming a Premium User. Premium Users are on a separate system, so they are not affected by these blocks. If you’re considering paying for a VPN just to access our site, we recommend upgrading to Premium instead, as the cost is almost the same—and Premium also includes access to movies.
Question 2: The new videos don’t load or buffer properly?
Since we host videos on multiple servers in different locations, sometimes an issue may occur on one server that we may not immediately notice. If you experience this problem, please send us an email at admin(at here)wco.tv. We’ll investigate the issue and try to fix it. If we cannot, we will contact you for additional details. Your help in reporting such cases is greatly appreciated.
Question 3: I have problems with recent releases. SD quality works, but Full HD doesn’t load or the player shows an error?
Even though we remind our editors not to release videos before they finish converting, sometimes they still do. This can cause playback errors. If this happens, please wait up to one hour. Once the conversion process is complete, the video will work properly. Please note: this only applies to newly released videos. If the issue is with an older video, please report it so we can fix it.
Question 4: Sometimes the video has no sound, or there is sound but no image?
This issue is usually related to your browser or browser extensions. If your browser doesn’t support the MP4 format we use, you may experience playback issues. Also, sound-related extensions (like equalizers) can interfere with audio. The solution is to try another browser. Our videos work best with Google Chrome. However, we cannot guarantee compatibility if certain extensions are installed. If you are using Chrome, the quickest solution is to right-click a link, select “Open link in incognito window” and then try watching the video again in incognito window.
Question 5: Some videos are out of sync.
If you’re using Safari or Firefox, you may occasionally encounter this problem. Unfortunately, we haven’t found a fix for these browsers. The issue is rare, but the best solution is to use Google Chrome, where this problem does not occur.
Further Problems & What you can Do about it?
